After Cincinnati musician and event co-organizer Ty Holiday died unexpectedly earlier this month, a show originally set to celebrateTrans Day of Visibility will now serve as a benefit and memorial gathering:
“We believe, in honor of our dear friend and event co-organizer Ty Holiday, the best thing we can do is carry on as scheduled in her memory. The four remaining acts have agreed to perform and we will do what we can to make this event great. We will hold space at the end of the evening, where Anaphaunt was scheduled to perform. The righteousness of our cause is more apparent now than ever. And we will fight for those who are still with us. see you there.”
All proceeds from the event benefit Transform Cincy, a Cincinnati-based LGBTQ+ non-profit that provides a safe and affirming space for LGBTQ+ youth to shop for clothing.
