It’s Girl Scout cookie season! Here’s a list of Ohio trans and nonbinary Girl Scouts to support

Not only does selling Girl Scout cookies boost confidence and help develop business skills, but it also help fund troop activities.

LGBTQ+ journalist Erin Reed has published her annual list of transgender and nonbinary Girl Scouts selling cookies. The Buckeye Flame has combed through the list and highlighted Ohio scouts below for you to support – and get tasty treats in return!

There are no new cookies this year, though it will be the last year the “S’mores” and “Toast-Yay!” cookies are offered.

According to the Girl Scouts website, not only does selling Girl Scout cookies boost confidence and help develop business skills, but the annual cookie sales also helps fund troop activities from rock climbing to traveling abroad.

Ohio Girl Scouts have also been affected by the current news cycle. In October 2024, the Archdiocese of Cincinnati cut ties with the organization due to their LGBTQ+ inclusivity.

We only pulled from Reed’s list, so if there are other trans Girl Scouts we should list, please send us an email to editor@thebuckeyeflame.com with a link to their order card and a short blurb.

  • Parker: My pronouns are he/him. I’m doing this to raise funds for our senior trip! I’m a junior and we’re trying to do it next summer! We’re trying to go to Alaska! You can buy cookies from him here!
  • Micah: Micah’s troop truly embraces her and uses the funds to provide equal access to troop activities, badges, and special events. This year the girls are saving money to do an overnight at a rock climbing gym, go zip lining, camping, and many more activities. You can buy cookies from her here!
  • Melody: Melody is a 3rd grade brownie, it is her first year as a girl scout and absolutely loves selling cookies. She really loves art and building things. She really wants to use the money from cookie sales to plan a park clean up and also plan a troop trip to either the zoo or aquarium. You can buy cookies from them here!
  • Logan: Logan is an 8 year old trans girl who is full of sparkles and sunshine, and she is earning money to do community service projects and spend a week at overnight Girl Scout camp this summer. You can buy her cookies here!
  • Morgan: Morgan is a 3rd grader participating in Girl Scouts for the first time this year with hope to build better friendships with other girls in her grade. You can buy her cookies here!
  • Koi: She’s been with Girl Scouts since Kindergarten, and now she is a Senior (10th Grade). She loves video games, hanging with friends, and history. One day she hopes to become an Archaeologist! You can buy cookies from her here!
  • Tanner: Tanner is a high school junior at a wildlife career center. He’s hoping to get hired at one of the Girl Scout camps this summer as a camp counselor. Proceeds from his cookie sale will help fund his Gold Award project, and allow his troop to take a big trip their senior year. You can buy his cookies here!
