Starbucks baristas in Strongsville and Westlake joined Starbucks workers striking across the nation on Saturday. The nationwide strike, which included one-day strikes of stores across the nation over the span of a week, was in response to the company’s union-busting practices and removal of pride decor during pride month.

The strikers were joined by members of the Cleveland branch of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) as well as members from several other unions, including the Teamsters, United Steelworkers, United Auto Workers, and more.
