We launched The Buckeye Flame in 2020 because something was missing in Ohio—a statewide LGBTQ+ newsroom actually paying attention to our community, our politics and our lives in every corner of the state. Our content is written by LGBTQ+ humans for LGBTQ+ humans.
As an independent, nonprofit newsroom, we rely on community support to keep our reporting free and accessible statewide.
