Marcus Wilde, of Shaker Heights, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on January 8, 2026, at the age of 27. Born on August 2, 1998, in Twentynine Palms, California.
Marcus is survived by his husband, Christopher Hennessy; parents Kris Wilde and John Maholtz; brother Ian Maholtz, in laws Kevin and Mary Beth Hennessy, and his beloved cats; Rosa and Moss.
He will be greatly missed at his Vampire the Masquerade and D&D games, where he brought creativity and friendship to every session. His loss will be felt by friends as well as those who he advocated for in the queer community. Concerts, festivals, parties, and gatherings will be lacking his unique spark and the joy he brought us all.
Marcus left an imprint on many of our hearts and lives.
