---

Here’s what we’ve got coming up on this week’s brand new episode of This News is So Gay:

• The midterm elections. What a toll it has taken on us. How have LGBTQ+ journalists navigated this wild season?
• Writing about controversial topics like abortion care. What goes into producing coverage like that?
• And, of course, queer joy. Where is our roundtable finding queer joy in the news right now?

Joining us this week to answer those questions and so many more are:

• Reporter for The Ohio Capital Journal, Susan Tebben.
• California Politics Editor for The Sacramento Bee, Lauren Chapman.
• Moderated by Ken Schneck, editor of The Buckeye Flame.

Support for This News is So Gay comes from the LGBTQ+ Opportunity Fund of the Cleveland Foundation, leveraging philanthropy to empower LGBTQ+ communities.
