“Lessons Learned”: A (FREE!) Forum With Ohio LGBTQ+ Candidates

On Wednesday, February 3, at 7pm, The Buckeye Flame and Equality Ohio will co-sponsor “Lessons Learned: Ohio LGBTQ+ Candidates Reflect on Wins, Losses and the Path to Future Victory.”

This free virtual forum will feature Ohio LGBTQ+ elected officials, 2020 candidates, and 2021 candidates speaking on their individual approaches to running for office, connecting with their constituents, and expressing their authenticity as they navigate the political landscape in the Buckeye State. Panelists include:

  • Sheena Marie Barnes (Toledo Public School Board of Education)
  • Zach Stepp (2020 OH State Rep Candidate – District 55)
  • Mark Carr (2020 OH State Rep Candidate – District 71)
  • Dara Adkison (2020 OH State Rep Candidate – District 57)
  • Reggie Harris (2021 Candidate for Cincinnati City Council)
