READ: The E-mail directing some Ohio teachers to remove all rainbows from their rooms

Principal Court Lilly sent the e-mail on September 22 as a result of a “politically charged era in time.”

Via a public records request, The Buckeye Flame obtained an e-mail that was sent from Principal Court Lilly to all New Richmond Middle School staff on September 22 describing a “politically charged era in time” and  directing teachers to remove “anything from [their] rooms that has rainbows on it.”

The instructions were handed down from the New Richmond Exempted Village School District Board of Education.
