Drew Filipski (he/him/his) is a freelance writer and journalist. An Ohio native, Drew is currently pursuing a major in journalism as part of the Carr Van Anda Program (B.S.J.) and a minor in marketing at Ohio University. Drew was selected as a scholar for NLGJA’s 2024 CONNECT Student Journalism Training Project and as a mentee for the inaugural Visit Greater Palm Springs Meet the Mentors program. His work has appeared in Signal Tribune, The Buckeye Flame, INTO, and Queerty.
